Hello everyone,
Most of you have been following our trip preparations via my Facebook page. Facebook is not allowed in Vietnam. To work around this we will write our posts here on Blogger and a family member will be posting links to this Blog on my Facebook page. You can also subscribe to the blog by joining my "Google Circle."
The plan is to keep everyone updated as our trip progresses. The hotels we plan to be staying in have internet but depending on internet speeds we may or may not be able to upload videos.
I will endeavor to keep everyone in the loop of our daily progress via photos and videos. I hope I can bring you the essence of Vietnam as we experience it. Given our minimalist approach to this trip we are only carrying carry on bags. That said, I will not have room for my laptop and will be relying on my ancient tablet and my phone to edit videos. This method will not be the best way to edit a video so my plan is to minimally edit each video and post them here in the blog. When we arrive home I will finalize a series of videos using all of the footage and photos we have taken.
So that our video adventures have a more pleasing look, I have developed the video below. This brief "lead in" will be used attach my daily Vietnam videos once we leave the U.S.
